The Scugog Shores Museum (www.scugogshoresmuseum.com) located in Port Perry (20 minutes north of Oshawa) is currently planning the third annual Scugog Shores Classic Car Drive-In & Fleamarket sponsored by The Scugog Standard. It’s taking place on Saturday, June 14 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. 

The event hopes to attract classic cars from across Durham Region and the surrounding area to see and be seen.

The whole family will have a great chance to take in automotive art on four-wheels. The public is invited, whether they have a classic or not, to come and enjoy the sights and sounds of the great cars of the 20’s, 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. A vendor’s market will offer parts, services and memorabilia for car owners to browse. Classic and custom owners are invited to participate in the Show and Shine to win prizes supplied by local merchants. Prizes are awarded for best pre-WWII, best 50’s/60’s, best 70’s plus and the People’s Choice. Also on hand will be antique police and emergency vehicles. A BBQ will be serving up sausages and hamburgers. Guided tours of the museum village and a children’s craft area will also be available.

We are currently looking for vendors to be part of our vendor’s market so we hope that you will consider being part of our 2008 show. Vendors showcasing automotive, marine and/or cycle components and services are invited to participate. Vendor space is $20 plus GST for a 20’ x 20’ space.
